View from Newcastle Island

I completed this plein air sketch on-site, on a sunny, windy day on Newcastle Island with a group of artist friends. The island is a provincial park and a wonderful place to visit, paint and explore trails. This is the view, looking southwest, to the City of Nanaimo, not far from where the small ferry arrives on the island.
