8" x 10" watercolour on 140# Arches cold-pressed paper
This painting is of a favourite spot on the Chemainus River. It’s at the end of the scenic trail that is accessed from Swallowfield Road. I’ve painted here before from a different view, and will likely return to paint it again—it offers so many beautiful sights of the river and its estuary and of long views out over old agricultural lands and intriguing geology.
