I’ve painted in the Cherry Point Beach area a number of times because I always feel exhilarated when I step down onto the sandy beach, see the expanse of water before me and smell the tang of an ocean shoreline. This view from the beach to Salt Spring Island and, out of frame to the right, you’d see Satellite Channel to the Saanich Peninsula.
