Bridge at Esquimalt Lagoon

On my way to deliver paintings to the Coast Collective Art Gallery in Colwood, now relocated, I always made time to stop along the causeway at Esquimalt Lagoon. There’s a long sandy beach on the ocean side of the causeway and a tranquil lagoon, with lots of shorebirds, on the other—always a favourite place for sketching, photography, bird-watching or just plain lazing on the beach with a good book.
