6" x 8" watercolour on Westport 140# acid-free rough paper
This small painting is another experiment in a series of playing with wet-in-wet watercolour. To me, it is reminiscent of sailing the west coast and the delight of translucent waters, gently lapping the shore. While our waters are not often turquoise, there are times during the sparkle of summer sun that they can seem so.
