Sip the Light Fantastic

When I painted this, I was surprised by the what-seemed a burning light revealed at its horizon. I had been playing with representing light in a series of watercolours but particularly liked the effect that this small oceanscape achieved. While its title echoes a phrase most related to dance, I felt there was a dancing quality of light that developed within it.
