Quandary

I like that when painting an abstract, the painting process takes you on a journey. Of course, I have a plan in mind, at the outset, but I knew it would evolve into the unexpected as I painted it— I would do ‘this’ and then, to my surprise, I would do ‘that’, each idea morphing into another, as I went along. Rather fun to do and quite liberating.
