Lodestone

This abstract painting is one of a series where I was experimenting with colour and non-representational painting, which is quite a change from my landscape work. I found doing these refreshing and liberating. I called it “Lodestone” for the process of painting that seemed to naturally, like a magnetized lodestone, pull me along to become what it wanted to be.
