The Victoriana is the pride and joy of David Conway, long-time resident of the Cowichan Valley and avid mariner of Vancouver Island’s coastal waters. The painting was commissioned as a gift by his wife, Cathy. The setting is Maple Bay and its distinctive backdrop of Mount Maxwell on Salt Spring Island.
