Sea View

This painting resulted from a hike with friends around the perimeter trails of Newcastle Island, offshore of Nanaimo. It was a hot day, making the dappled shade beneath shoreline trees especially attractive, both for painting and a place to pause and enjoy lunch and beautiful sea views.
