Reclamation

In this painting, I wanted the sky colours to suggest a tension between the optimism of spreading light and the foreboding of angry clouds, moving in or moving out, depending on your own interpretation. I do have a story in mind with this, as suggested in its title, but I prefer that your take your own understanding from it.
