Outward Bound

When I was painting this watercolour, I was thinking about tranquility and escaping, as often as possible, into nature’s silence—always a tonic for the soul. If you live on a coastline, like I do, you can explore your shore ecology, muse on your place within it and, if fortunate, find a new or renewing inner peace through your paddling adventures, outward bound.
