Island Low Tide

This plein air sketch is of the channel between Newcastle and Protection islands at low tide, when you can wade across the gap to either island. I didn’t wade on this painting day because of a chill wind whipping through the gap but I definitely plan to go back to this site, test the water and explore island trails.
