This painting is the result of a hike along the Chemainus River with the Cowichan Valley Naturalists and representatives from the Halalt First Nation. I don’t recall if there’s a name for these falls but you can get to them by way of a trail at the end of Cranko Road. I imagine the falls are a spectacular show in winter, with even higher volumes of water.
