14" x 18.5" watercolour on 300# Arches cold-pressed paper SOLD
The southeast coast of Vancouver Island always has a great show of colour in the fall; its shores, hillsides and valleys have an abundance of deciduous trees—through river bottoms, lake edges and fertile lands. This painting is an ode to the welcomed change after the long heat of summer. Come Autumn! Your colours feast my eyes, give me pause to express thanks and lead me willingly into the more reflective time of our soft coastal winter.
