Kiss the Beach

This painting could be of any sandy beach but for me it's looking directly offshore at Wickaninnish Beach. I wanted to capture the wetness of the sand, changing weather and of course the wash of waves ‘kissing’ the beach in front of me. Painting on resistive synthetic paper helped achieve the loose, wet effect I was after.
