Coming in to Rest

If you live on the coast, you’ll be familiar with how birds—often crows or starlings—fly in over the water to find a roost for the night. This painting depicts that gathering and is one in a series of wet-in-wet watercolour demonstrations I did as part of a watercolour class I gave for a local artists group.
