Stranded driftwood, tree trunks, roots, broken limbs and fallen or dislodged near-shore trees are common sights to west coast beach walkers. Their forms are often intriguing and a popular subject for photographers and artists who, like me, love to capture in pictures or paintings their naturally sculpted beauty.
