Spring Blush

In the Cowichan Valley, there are spectacular displays of spring wildflowers that flow in rafts of blossoms down mountain sides, across natural meadows, along stream banks and to the shores of lakes like the Quamichan, Somenos and Cowichan to name just three. The pinks and purples of shooting stars and camas are always the wildflower ‘stars’ in my mind.
