Pollywogs

My sister once had a farm in the Cowichan Valley with a number of irrigation ponds. One had a large flat rock at its edge and was a favorite perch for kids watching pollywogs and other aquatic creatures. I don’t paint children often but couldn’t resist capturing this image.
