Evening Sentinel

The Great Blue Heron is an iconic image on Vancouver Island and in the Cowichan Valley, especially as it is seen in evening silhouette along waterways and shorelines. This painting is not of a particular spot but representative of so many sightings of herons I've had along the west coast.
